Steps

Support

Both soles and heels throughout the movement; hands bear no weight.

Enter

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Turn your feet and knees slightly outward.
  3. Extend your arms forward, parallel to the floor, palms down.
  4. Exhale and lower into a squat, keeping your heels supported.

Hold

  1. Keep your spine long and chest lifted throughout the movement.
  2. Point your knees in the same direction as your feet.
  3. Keep your arms extended forward throughout the repetitions.

Exit

  1. Finish by inhaling and returning to standing.
