Steps

Support

One sole; the other leg rests behind your neck.

Enter

  1. From seated Eka Pāda Śīrṣāsana, keep your left leg behind your neck.
  2. Ground your hands; bend your right knee and plant your foot.
  3. Place your palms on your right thigh.
  4. Exhale, press your thigh, and rise, straightening your right leg.
  5. Lift your chest and join your palms before your sternum.

Hold

  1. Keep your entire right sole grounded and your knee straight.
  2. Keep your left leg behind your neck without holding it.
  3. Lift your chest and keep your head raised.

Exit

  1. Bend your right knee and sit down again, using support.
  2. Support your left leg and lift it from behind your neck.
  3. Extend both legs and repeat on the other side.
Breathing
Exhale while rising; breathe normally while holding.

According to your capacity, without a fixed duration.
