Steps

Support

Left palm and outer edge of right foot; pelvis lifted.

Enter

  1. From Dandasana, bend your left knee and open your hip.
  2. Hold your ankle; place your left leg behind your head.
  3. Ground both palms; move your right leg out to the right.
  4. Exhale; lift your body with both palms grounded.
  5. Turn your chest right; raise your right arm.

Hold

  1. Push the floor away and keep your left arm steady.
  2. Straighten your right leg and keep your pelvis lifted.
  3. Extend both arms and face your chest to the right.
  4. Lengthen your neck; keep your leg seated behind your head.

Exit

  1. Lower your right hand and bring your pelvis to the floor.
  2. Hold your left ankle; release your leg and return to Dandasana.
  3. Repeat on the other side.
