Steps

Support

Knees, shins, and tops of feet; buttocks on feet, heels alongside.

Hold

  1. Keep your chest steady during the abdominal pulses.
  2. Relax your shoulders and face.

Exit

  1. Finish with normal breathing before changing your seat.
  2. Support yourself with your hands; extend one leg at a time.

One round

  1. Exhale through both nostrils, drawing your abdomen inward.
  2. Release your abdomen and let air flow in passively.
  3. After the set, inhale and exhale deeply.
  4. Breathe normally before repeating.

Rhythm
Short, active exhalations; passive inhalations; steady rhythm without breath holds.

Start with ten breaths per round; up to five rounds.
