Enter

  1. Lie face down with your legs straight and together.
  2. Reach your arms backward alongside your torso.
  3. Exhale and lift your head, chest, and legs together.
  4. Lift your hands, keeping your abdomen grounded.

Hold

  1. Keep your thighs, knees, and ankles together.
  2. Straighten your legs and point your feet backward.
  3. Distribute the backbend throughout your spine, reaching your breastbone forward.
  4. Reach your arms toward your feet without grounding your hands.

Exit

  1. Slowly lower your chest, arms, and legs.
  2. Rest face down with your cheek on your arms.
Breathing
Exhale as you lift; breathe normally while holding.
Gaze
Look toward the floor, keeping the back of your neck long.
