Steps

Hold

  1. Hold only while comfortable.

Exit

  1. After finishing, remain seated and breathe naturally.

One round

  1. Fold your tongue backward against your palate: khecarī mudrā.
  2. Inhale in ujjāyī, tilting your head slightly back.
  3. Hold with śāmbhavī; straighten your elbows, pressing your knees.
  4. Exhale, close your eyes, relax your arms; slowly straighten your head.
  5. Breathe naturally for a few seconds: one round.
Gaze
Śāmbhavī: eyes open toward your eyebrow center during retention.
Rhythm
Slow nasal ujjāyī inhalation, internal breath retention, and slow nasal exhalation.
