Steps

Support

The sole of your right foot, on the side described.

Enter

  1. From Mountain, stand on your right foot; lift your left knee.
  2. Exhale and turn your rib cage toward your left thigh.
  3. Wrap your right arm around and underneath your outer left thigh.
  4. Reach your left arm behind; clasp hands or hold its wrist.
  5. Inhale and straighten your left knee forward, keeping your torso upright.

Hold

  1. Distribute weight across your heel, big toe mound, and little toe mound.
  2. Lengthen your spine and broaden your chest.
  3. Keep your standing leg straight.
  4. Keep the crossing arm's shoulder blade against your ribs.

Exit

  1. Release the bind and lower your foot.
  2. Return to Mountain.
  3. Repeat on the other side.
Breathing
Breathe steadily and calmly.
Gaze
Look straight ahead.

About six breaths per side.
