Steps

Support

Sitting bones, backs of the legs, and heels.

Enter

  1. Sit with your legs straight and feet slightly apart.
  2. Close your eyes; rest your hands on your knees.
  3. Lean forward; hold each big toe with thumb, index, and middle finger.

Hold

  1. Keep your spine long and your head facing forward.
  2. Keep your legs straight.
  3. Hold your toes without pulling your torso forward.

Exit

  1. Release your toes and return to an upright seat.

One round

  1. Inhale slowly and let your abdomen expand.
  2. Hold your breath without straining.
  3. Exhale slowly and relax your abdomen.
