Steps

Support

The standing sole; hands and lifted foot unsupported.

Enter

  1. Stand and shift your weight onto your right foot.
  2. Bend both knees; lift your left thigh to horizontal.
  3. Point your left foot slightly to the right.
  4. Cross your left arm at thigh height, palm facing down.
  5. Raise your right forearm vertically, palm facing forward.

Hold

  1. Position your right elbow behind your left wrist.
  2. Index finger touching thumb's base; other three fingers extended.
  3. Keep your torso upright and standing knee slightly bent.
Breathing
Breathe normally.
Gaze
Toward the horizon.
Duration
Without strain; up to three repetitions per side.
