Steps

Support

Crown, both forearms, and little-finger edges of the hands.

Enter

  1. Kneel; ground your forearms, elbows shoulder-width apart, and interlace your fingers.
  2. Ground your crown; cup your hands behind your head.
  3. Raise your legs into a steady supported Headstand.
  4. Exhale; lower both straight legs together until parallel to the floor.
  5. Shift your torso slightly backward to counterbalance your legs.

Hold

  1. Press your forearms down and keep your shoulders lifted.
  2. Keep your legs together and horizontal, with your knees straight.
  3. Engage your abdomen without interrupting your breathing.

Exit

  1. Exhale; raise both legs together back to vertical.
  2. Bend your knees and slowly lower your feet.
  3. Ground your knees; rest in Child's Pose.

Breathe normally; exhale when raising your legs.
