Steps

Support

Both palms, left knee, and left toes; right leg lifted.

Enter

  1. Start on all fours, hands under shoulders and knees under hips.
  2. Ground your left toes; share weight between both hands and knee.
  3. Lift your right leg back and up.
  4. Bend your right knee and point your toes upward.
  5. Arch your back and direct your gaze upward.

Hold

  1. Keep your arms straight and shoulders over your wrists.
  2. Keep your supporting knee directly under your hip.
  3. Keep your pelvis facing the floor, without rotating it.
  4. Gently draw your abdomen inward while keeping your chest broad.

Exit

  1. Slowly lower your right knee to return to all fours.
  2. Bring your back and neck to a neutral position.
  3. Repeat with your left leg lifted.
Breathing
Breathe normally while holding the pose.
Gaze
Upward.
